Cornish Pasties in London?

Where is a good place to find Cornish Pasties in London?

There is a store at Covent Garden.

most main stations have a cornish pasties stall called (from memory) "original cornish pasties" and these are the mutts nutts (possibly literaly for all I know). They're gorgeous.

Hi David,

Is the "mutt's nutts" anything like the "bee's knees"?

The firm is called something like West Cornwall Pasty Company. I've bought them at Victoria and Clapham Junction stations, and they are good, with pieces of real meat, not mush like many factory-made pasties.

You've got it right, ira!

ie .. the best or excellent!

Ira - its the 'dogs private parts!!' or the 'dogs bo**ocks'! In other words 'just the ticket'!

Beware of the factory made version.
It's a pity when these traditional and regional items are mass produced. Pork pies are a case in point.

I don't know if they sell Cornish pasties but there's a lovely little shop called A. Gold http://www.agold.co.uk/

They are near Spitallfields Market and sell all sorts of regional goodies. Try their Yorkshire Brack, a lovely moist cake.
