Cork farm tour
 

We are looking for a comprehensive cork farm tour the third week in May. We would like to plan a day trip from Lisbon. We really don’t want to combine it with wine tasting. Any suggestions would be helpful. There are 4 of us, so a private tour is not out of the question. Thanks.

The cork farms are found in the Alentejo (mostly) and Ribatejo regions. Amorim is the largest producer.
Many of the excursions from Lisbon combine a tour of a cork farm with wine tasting because that's what the clients prefer, a two-for-one since the Alentejo region is quite famous for its wine production as well as cork.
