Kerkyra is the Greek name for Corfu.

Its wonderful in June and early September, almsot ideal weather for a vacation...July and August areterribly HOT! Get something to fight the mosquitos:) and be preapared that you have to pay extra for a air conditioner in your room...
The Sea is amazing and I advice: Paleokastritsa for staying. Of course you can travel across the Island everyday...

Enjoy!

did i ask for the greek name for corfu?

Dukey May 5th, 2008 11:49 AM

Don't bite ANY hand that feeds you even IF the food isn't quite what you expected, OK?

Holly_uncasdewar May 5th, 2008 12:12 PM

Actually, the link Heimdall posted is exactly what nogger asked for. The added information - that Kerkyra is the Greek name for Corfu - is relevant because the information on the site references Kerkyra, not Corfu. Apparently nogger has no noggin. Happy travels.

>>did i ask for the greek name for corfu?<<

No, nogger. You asked what the weather is like in Kerkyra in early September. :-D :-D

nogger May 6th, 2008 05:14 AM

very confusciuos like dukey, but again irrelevant.

nogger May 6th, 2008 05:16 AM

Dear Holly. WHAT?????

markrosy May 6th, 2008 05:59 AM

thought nogs usually floated - this one is sinking and out of its depth.

Nogger -

Holly was explaining that if you hit the link that Heimdall included in the post, you will be taken to a page describing the weather for Corfu. However, on that site, you will not see the name Corfu rather you will only see Kerkyra.

but it has a sense of humour!

Smeagol May 6th, 2008 06:44 AM

Nogger seems like a troll to me, or he/she is just very aggresive and rude. Wouldn't bother answering their post as your likley to get some smart ar*e comment back

nogger May 6th, 2008 07:10 AM

not if pertinent information is fothcoming.

Smeagol May 6th, 2008 07:19 AM

You had pertinent info given from the first person that answered and you gave a smart Alec response. I am astounded by some of the rudeness that goes on on this forum sometimes. People hide behind PC's and think they can be rude. I happen to think you are one of those people! anyway nuff said.....

Heimdall May 6th, 2008 10:27 AM

Nogger must be a μπαμπουλ& alpha;σ :-D
