David:
You'd have to take the train going toward Malaga & change at Bobadilla.
March being the off-season, don't know how many trains daily would be running.

Thanks for the information. Do you know anything about bus service? I received, via this forum, an 800 number for train service and will check the schedules.

You may want to take the fast train
from Cordoba to Seville which leaves
almost every hour on the hour and
in Seville there are 3 trains per day
going to Granada: I have been told
to stay away from the bus as it is
very slow and stops in many towns:
Check out the train service schedules
in Cordoba and Seville and you can
arrange the trip: good luck

I just returned from a trip to southern Spain...I took a train from Ronda to Granada (stopping in Bobadilla). I know there are buses that go from Cordoba to Granada, if I remember correctly, it takes about 3-4 hours. I took a couple of buses when in Spain and had no problems at all.

David, would you mind sharing that 800 number with me for train service? I am heading to Spain in May and am trying to find out bus and train schedules and costs to determine the best way to get from each area to the next. Thanks!

Thanks to all.. I checked the train schedules with RENFE and there are trains at fairly regular intervals.

PETRABAX ( the 800 number posted) does not have information on trransportation. They did have information on paradors.
