cordoba hotel/hostal rec?

Hi everyone -
I am going to S. Spain in October, first time visit. I've gotten lots of great itinerary suggestions from this message board, so thank you everyone! Right now I'm trying to find an inexpensive hotel or hostal in Cordoba for one night. I've already tried Albucasis and Maestre based on recommendations I've found in searches on this board, but they are booked. Any other suggestions? Limited budget - looking for a clean place for under 10-12,000 pts and very willing to stay in hostal vs. hotel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kate

You could try these other two not badly situated at all:

Los Omeyas ( around 9000 pts/double room )

Marisa ( around 9500 pts/double room )

Both are located within walking distance to Cordoba Mosque.

Came back from Spain last friday. In Cordoba, I stayed at Los Omeyas and loved it. A hotel, not hostal. Great location, steps away from the cathedral/mosque (we could hear the bells from our room)Very clean and comfortable room, no carpet, nice, clean bathroom with shower. Great value too.

I stayed at the Hotel Seneca in Cordoba last January. Nice little hotel, very inexpensive, although also VERY poorly heated in January.
