Copenhagen to visit son studying abroad

Need help finding an apartment (nice and clean hopefully!) in Copenhagen in the fall. Visiting a son doing a semester abroad. Also, restaurant and activity suggestions would be great. 3 adults and 1 teen boy are going.

I have not found a lot of apartments in Copenhagen but did find a few. I however stayed at a hotel when I was there this last January. I found one..I was just curious..it's in Nyhavn..great area by googleing "vacation apartment rentals Copenhagen". I'll see if I can find the link for you..I think I book marked it.

Thank you. Did you find the link? Was hoping I could find someone who has actuallt rented....

I can't find the link..will keep looking but go ahead and google for vacation rental apartments. I did see some on there but not the particular one I was looking for. I noticed some are out of the city center but if the metro is close it will be easy getting to the center of town. My neice was there in school all last year, just came home about two weeks ago. Is your son with DIS? I did see an apartment right by the walking street..strogert? I have a HORRIBLE time with Danish words..AND Swedish. Wasn't sure it was big enough. That area is right by Nyhavn...very good and convenient to metro, and buses etc. I'll post again if I can come up with what I'm thinking of.

Yes, my son will be with DIS. Still looking for the right apartment to rent for 4 adults over Thanksgiving week. Any suggestions please??

That's going to be a hard one as apartments in KBH have always been in shortage. Happy Travels!

stlmjay, I just googled "vacation apartment rentals copenhagen" and one popped up that is very close to Nyhavn and said accommodates 6 people. 1200 someting DK per day...exchange is about 7 or 7.50 DK per 1.00. I don't know how to post the URL so it was listed twice..the second and third listings. the URL starts out www.travel library.com ...says you can e-mail the owner direct. I didn't look at it really closely but the location is great..looks like about 178.00 per night or so, so the price seems good. I didn't really look at anything else. Good luck.
