Copenhagen: Tivoli or LEGOland?
I know this is the kind of question that is impossible to answer (and I know LEGOland isn't in Copenhagen) -- but for people who have done one or both: Are they worth it? Why? TIA! |
If you are already in Copenhagen don't miss an evening in Tivoli. Why? Why not? |
Hi S,
Ummmmmmmmmmm, these are two of the biggest attractions in Denmark. Have you considered googling them? ((I)) |
We took our two sons to Tivoli and never regretted it. They had a wonderful time -- they were 9 & 10 at the time.
|
I havenīt been to Legoland, but Tivoili is beautiful. Of course itīs not comparable to any Disney property/park, but still itīs gorgeous.
Best time is when it begins to get dark. |
I have taken my daughter to both. Tivoli is good for all ages while Legoland is more appropriate with younger children. The Lego garden, however would keep everyone enchanted for hours. I thought it was much better than the one in Carlsbad or Windsor.

I've never been to Legoland, but I've been to Tivoli twice and loved it. I don't know when I'll be back in Copenhagen, but I would go again.
|
If you google Tivoli Gardens Copenhagen you will get a website that lists all the restaurants there, what's going on etc. I was there for the Christmas Market at the end of December..very pretty , very fun. Just a nice place to while away some time and be relaxed.

Well - you should really do Tivoli at night to see the best of it - it;s magical lit up - and the fireworkds aren't until dark - like 11:30 or so. So, unless the kids are really small I would let them stay up late one night.
As for Legoland - how old are the kids? And how interested are they in going? |
Who said anything about kids? ;) Thanks for all the posts! |
