Copenhagen Hotels & Areas to Stay

I will be traveling to Copenhagen in May for the first time. I'm looking for hotel suggestions and best areas to stay.

I would also like to know. We'd like to keep it between $150 - $200 per night.

I stayed here: https://www.wakeupcopenhagen.com/the...rgade/#/search

Good location, but probably better for singles than couples, given the size and configuration of the rooms.

We stayed near Tivoli Gardens in a Radisson but if we return we would stay in Nyhaven at rhe Admiral Hotel.

BCBW:

on two visits we favored and enjoyed The Ibsen. Away from the noise and the crowds but close to everything. It's near the lake shore and an easy pleasant walk to the Strojet, the city's main pedestrian street.

It was and maybe still is a hotel managed and staffed by women...clean and very comfortable with larger than expected rooms, elevator, good Italian restaurant, ample breakfast.

I will post my pix, and hotel's web pages below.

At Norreport (RR Station) you can catch a train to visit Fredricksburg castlem Louisiana Modern Art Museum all in one day.

These will give you some ideas and familiarization with the cityhttps://picasaweb.google.com/stuarttower/Denmark#Enjoy your visit. If you stay at The Ibsen, a short walk to The Klimt Cafe is worth it for a unique spot and good reasonable food. Also see pix for Ida Jacobsens famous smorrebord cafe. Excellent but rather steep pricing.

>>we would stay in Nyhaven at rhe Admiral Hotel.<< The Admiral is not in Nyhavn (note spelling). It is waterfront though, interesting hotel and great location.

Other hotels
The Square, great location
The Alexandra
Marriott but not probably in your budget
Any of the Guldsmeden hotels
