copenhagen hotel-October

I've read all the discussion on centrally located hotels...and it is all very confusing. I've narrowed it down, by price, and by location ,to two hotels. Danmark/or the newly renovated hotel 27 Copenhagen. This was the old Mermaid , Please help. I need to make a decission.
Thank you . Ruth

Stayed at the Danmark in '99 and it was excellent. Perfect location, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast. It has always gotten good reviews in this forum. Can't speak for the other hotel. Never stayed there.

I've not had a bad experience in Denmark after 20+ visits.

In central Copenhagen, I used the tourist office to find a hotel.

Just stayed 3 nights at the Marriott. Very friendly and the best beds I have ever slept in. More like a cocoon. Friendly staff, big beautiful rooms with medium cherry wood, If you spring for the club level you will get free internet, breakfast, snacks, good wine, etc. Easy walk to Tivoli and main square.
