Copenhagen and Stockholm in July
 

What to pack? Female traveling to both cities in mid-July.
I need to pack light, are coats required?
Any suggestions most welcome.

A lite weight coat or sweat/hoodie type jacket would be fine. It should stay light until 9.30 pm or later and sun will rise around 3.30 am at least in Sweden.

Should say light weight rain coat as you may get some rain. It should be in the low 70's during the day. And temps drop a little at night. We were just in Stockholm in May and had some rainy days, similiar temps (70s) but it was pleasant.

I've not been to Copenhagen though.

In Sweden in July it will actually be light out till after 11pm and get light out again by 3am. I would bring a water proof or resistant rain jacket with hood that could be layered over a couple of sweaters. Layers are the way to go in any northern European country in summer.
