Copenhagen after 6pm?

Next week I will be going to Copenhagen for a conference for one week. The conference runs until 6 o’clock every night which won’t allow me much time for most sightseeing. Any recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the evening? Thank you in advance.

1. TIVOLI!

2. The Rundetarn observatory is open until 10 pm. Fantastic views of the city and a nice bit of exercise on that walk to the top!

3. Canal Tours Copenhagen operates its boat rides until 7:30 for more views of the city.

4. Nyhavn will have lots of restaurants and good strolling/people watching.

5. If the Royal Ballet is performing, GO.
More specifically, the Golden Tower of Tivoli which gives you a marvelous view of the city and then gives you a very fast, very thrilling drop down to earth. Tivoli at night is magical, and there are some good restaurants right in the park.

Definitely go to Tivoli, at least twice. They have fireworks at 11 PM on Wednesday and Saturday. Madame Tussaud's is open til 10, I think. If you need souvaniers to bring back to your kids, pick up Hard Rock Cafe Copenhagen shirts (right next door to the entrance of Tivoli). Lots of other good restaurants in and around Tivoli that stay open late.

I really appreciate the responses. I also would like to go somewhere to listen to jazz music in the early evening... Any suggestions?
