Will be spending one and half days in Copenhagen. What can we see or visit in that length of time? Thank You

What time of year?

Copenhagen has enough to keep you busy for at lest 4 days - plus a couple of more for day trips.

My list wold start with Tivoli (at night - do have dinner there and stay until it closes).

Stroll the Stroget (pedestrian shopping street aboue a mile long).

Pick out which of several castles/palaces you want t visit (I prefer Rosenborg).

See the Little Mermaid (tiny and disappointing) and hte WWII resistance museum (very moving).

Also, a couple of art musuems and a history/folk museum that is fascinating.

For lunch definitely find a place with the incredible teeny sandwiches - I love the baby shrimps on pumpernickel wth home made mayo - but all are great.

And bring lots of kroner.

Would agree with "nytraveler" recommendations although I would add stop at a 7-11 (train station across from Tivoli) and have one of there cinnamon rolls. They are huge and IMO delicious :)

I agree also with the above and would add The New Carlsberg Glyptotek and Nyhaven (not far from the end of the Stroget.

Tivoli, Natural History Museum, walking & window shopping on the Stroget and, if you like shops/design, walk the side streets near the Grand Hotel. If you enjoy the ballet, and there is an evening performance, see the Danish Royal Ballet: one of the finest companies in the world (and the venue is very central).
At the end of the Stroget, not too far from Tivoli, is an interesting design museum...sorry that I can't remember the name. Have fun! I love Copenhagen ( so much so that I've visited several times at Christmas); and, the people are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Wonderful food, also.
