Have seen the Little Mermaid - we walked to see if one rainy day. All my sister said was - we walking all that way just to see this!! But I liked it and it is one of the important things of Copenhagen.
There is the changing of the guards at the palace. |

I thought the little mermaid had relocated to Shanghai as part of the World Expo from 1 May until 31 Oct?!!

Little mermaid is in Shanghai till probably November. Her "sister" - the copy that was kept in the family - is on display in Tivoli gardens.
We are going in August, and I have already a list of 1,000,000 museums to visit :) Everybody recommends canal tours. Send e-mail to that website in Sandy's post, they will send you a free map in the mail. |

If the Little Mermaid were bigger, she wouldn't be the Little Mermaid... As for places to go and things to see (in no particular order): - Nyhavn - Rosenborg Slot - Amalienborg Palace - Opera House - Carlsberg Glyptotek - Carlsberg Vistior Center - Outside town: Frederiksborg Castle - Outside town: Kronborg Castle - Christiania - Strøget - Little Mermaid - Tivoli - Staten Museum for Kunst (Art Museum) |
