Cool Restaurant suggestion needed: Southern Croatia
Hi all! I will be in Croatia next week. We are flying into Split and ultimately traveling south along the coast.
I am looking for ideas for a really special restaurant in or around Dubrovnik or on the coast anywhere south of Split. I want to surprise someone for their birthday and would like to make it a memorable experience. Ideally I would like something with amazing food and an amazing view or located in a really cool setting. We like all types of food, so cuisine type and price is flexible. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!

I suppose you already have lodgings booked, but just in case... Maslina resort, which is brand new, has a special deal - two nights, 3 course meal in their restaurant, yoga, massage, wine tasting, 597 euros for two. Birthday there would be like some kind of dream. You have to be a guest to eat there.

The special is called wellbeing escape package, I do not see it on their website but it is on the Facebook page.
Maybe seafood at Bota Šare In Mali Ston? https://www.bota-sare.hr/en/mali-ston
in Dubrovnik: I never ate there myself but have passed it many times, looking longingly inside - 360.

Although I just returned home from Croatia 9 days ago, I’m afraid I can’t help too much in the memorable dining location as I focused this trip more on down home, local type restaurants. But I can tell you you will LOVE beautiful Croatia, especially this year when the crowds, I was told, are about 10% of normal. Be sure to try the various Croatian wines as they are quite good and very reasonably priced. Posip and Grk (both whites) and Plavac Mali (red) were my favorites.
