Cooking Schools in Paris?

My wife and I are going to Paris this summer and my wife has mentioned that she would like to attend a cooking school if there is one avialable. She would be interested in a one day class, in english. She would love to take a class in baking. Can anyone help?

Paule is very good... as is Sue Young. market visits, cooking and French language. The Ritz and Cordon Bleu have not had favorable reviews.

Below response to my e:mail to Irene Adamian - www.paris-gourmet.com The price is 185 euros per person for the
whole day "French for a Day" program (cooking and shopping)

Following the advice on this site, I contacted the above; daughter and I are scheduled for a day with Sue Young and Irene Adamian! A bit of a bite [:)] for our budget, but we will eat off the street for the rest of our lunches!

Wendy, that is now two-for-two that I have taken your recommendations. So sorry you won't be in town when dd and I are - would love to say thank you in person!
