Hey arf-
Going to Italy in 4 weeks. During my perusing of many books, I clearly remember that in the Born to Shop:Italy book by Suzy Gershman, she talks about a cooking school in Rome, where the instructors take you to the market to buy Italian specialties and bring you back to their "school" to instruct you how to cook it.
Wish it was more specific. If I run across the book again, I will jot down the name and repost. Found the book at Borders by the way.
