Cooking School in Provence, FR

Two friends and I are planning a 40th b-day trip to Paris and Provence in September and would like to take a 3-day cooking class somewhere in Provence area. Any suggestions? Would train from Paris to Nice be the best way to travel?

I'm getting ready to depart on a self-guided culinary trip around Europe, and here are some of the ones I have on my spreadsheet in the Provence region. If you decide to go elsewhere and want other recommendations (for example, I'm cooking with a woman in Bordeaux for an afternoon), just let me know. I've been researching cooking schools for months now!

In Arles: www.cuisineprovencale.com (one-day class it looks like)

In Aix: http://www.le-passage.fr

Thank you both. We definitely don't want a week long class. I'll look at these.

Friends of mine took a class at Le Passage and raved -

Just one caveat, the class they took was with Reine Sammut, the chef at La Feniere in Lourmarin. Not sure if she is still doing the classes at Le Passage anymore. You could look into taking a class with her in Lourmarin. She is considered one of the top female chefs in Provence, if not all of France.

We did a class with Jean-Jacques Prevot in Cavaillon, Provence. He does one or two day classes and also just half day or evening classes at his restaurant, followed by an incredible meal with all the things you cooked along with a different wine for each course. It was a ton of fun and the people were great.
