Cooking classes in Venice or Florence

Can anyone recommend cooking classes in either city? I'd also be interested in Siena. Although I'm open to all responses, I'd prefer to stay away from the large, chain hotels.
Thanks!!

Hello dperry, if you go onto www.google.com and in the search box type in cooking classes in Florence, Italy or cooking classes in Venice, Italy you will see a lot of cooking classes websites. I am sure you will consequently find a cooking school that will fit your needs. Have a fun time in Italy!

I took the Divina Cucina cooking class in Florence in May 2005 and highly recommend it. You can read about our experience-- and see some photos-- here: http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/food/kw_divinacucina.htm
