Cooking class with kids in Paris?

I am starting to plan a family trip to Paris in February. My 10 & 11 year old step-daughters love to cook and bake with me. Does anyone know of a cooking class in Paris that would be appropriate to do with kids?

(I am looking to add some indoor/warm activities to our list for February, because of the weather)

E-mail me [email protected]

I know a wonderful woman who speaks English and conducts private cooking lessons (anything you like) in her Paris home. First is a trip to the market, then preparation, then the meal is enjoyed by all (along with other members of your family that did not attend the cooking lesson).

cruisinred, I attended a three-hour cooking class with Mme Meunier last February. There was a mother with her 12-year old daughter in attendance, and Mme Meunier was very attentive to the daughter. You can read about the class on my trip report:

However, I should mention that the class was conducted in French. Mme Meunier was very helpful with those of us who needed a bit of help with certain phrases, but most of the explanation was in French.

djkbooks, I would be interested in learning more about the woman who gives private lessons. Would you mind if I dropped you a note at your e-mail address?

I am replying to my own post here, but I did find out that the Ritz and Le Cordon Bleu both offer cooking classes for children. Most are conducted in French, but a few sessions are in English. As luck would have it, they are not in session when we are in Paris.

djkbooks: thanks, I will be in touch

I really should have googled this myself before posting; sorry.

But here is another kids' cooking class:

And how about arranging a private "chocolate tour" for a family:

DJ, I just wrote you as well. Would the lady you recommend be right for a group of adults?
