Cooking Class advice, Paris

I would like to take a short (half day?) cooking class while in Paris and am looking at L'atelier des Chefs. Does anyone have any comments on their classes? or can advise on other cooking classes in Paris. I'm not as interested in desserts, but almost anything would work. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I only speak a little French and will be in Paris the first two weeks of April. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just received a reply from L'atelier des Chefs and their classes are all in French. Does anyone know of English classes--or dual language? Or have you taken one of these classes without knowing French and still enjoyed it? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

you might try

www.promenadesgourmandes.com for 1/2 & full days classes presented in English.

Thank you, Rhea. I checked the site you suggested, but they are out of my price range. Will try L'aterlier des Chefs unless I hear of something in English.

Hi P,

What is your price range?

You already have "Mastering the Art of French Cooking - Vols 1 and 2", yes?
