xyz, get over your persecution complex. You aren't the one who called BofA a "bunch of crooks" -- nukesafe is the one who said that and that is the poster that entire post was directed to, including his (her) reference to the outlandish fees BofA charges and then stating incorrect fees -- which only showed that he (she) really didn't know what he was talking about!
But I'll still say that you shouldn't claim that you are giving correct information when you are giving INCORRECT information. I gave specific examples of how your indicating that paying 3% is "ALWAYS a better deal" is just plain WRONG. That was the only point YOU made that I took issue with. OK? And yes I pointed out the savings both using a BofA partner bank and NOT using one, over paying 3% for withdrawals. I still don't understand why you would rant against "near criminal charges of 1% then actually suggest you're better off paying 3% to another bank. Nor do I understand why you would call anyone who pays $ 8 for a $300 ATM withdrawal "STUPID" and in the same sentence suggest that paying $9 to Citibank for the same transaction is not stupid! That, however is an opinion that you are entitled to. You may call spending $8 stupid and spending $9 for the same thing as smart, or in the case of a $500 withdrawal, you may prefer to pay Citibank $15 rather than pay BofA $10. I don't. If you meant to say that savings of 3% fees is better when doing little withdrawals of $30 or $50 then you should have said so. Using the word "ALWAYS" certainly did not indicate that. End of THAT discussion.
And yes, xyz, I have "criticized you correctly" and have only taken issue with one point you made. I should have pointed out that your very complete post on a lot of points was accurate in every other respect.
