Penny, I haven't stayed there but there have been a few previous threads about convents in Rome. Go to the search window above and type in convents or convents in Rome, choose Italy in the country box and do a search. The appropriate threads will appear in the left column. You should get at least some information.

Good luck.

Be sure to ask about curfews (as early as 11 pm)if you plan on staying in a convent. I looked at several last year but didn't want to have to be in by a certain time at night. Here is a hotel/convent? run by nuns. www.suorebambinogesu.it I was interested in this one because we were traveling in the summer and it had ac.

Check out the Casa di Santa Brigida on Piazza Farnese. It has large rooms, breakfast, immaculately clean, and A/C. The sisters are very helpful, friendly, and there is no curfew. They give you a key to the door! Wonderful place that will not disappoint. Great location as well.
