Convent in Loreto Ancona
 

Can anyone help with a fax number for the Casa di Accoglienza Convent in Loreto?
I have an old copy of Beds and Blessings and they have only one number which is same for phone and fax. I tried sending fax but they answered and couldn't speak English. Just Italian, Spanish and French!! So with limited Italian and lots of repeato and si the nun gave me another number which says it is not connected. I couldn't go through the process again and thought someone may have the new number.
Also why are there no photos posted and not many reports of Convent stays in Italy when I believe they are a good experience?

Many people have posted of excellent Italian convent stays. The SlowTalk.com site has numerous convent reviews. I posted about my very nice stay in Florence.

I would suggest posting at SlowTalk.com in the Italy forum if you don't get responses here. Someone there would no doubt be able to help. This is a more off-the-beaten track location so it will be harder to find info.

Thanks WillTravel I looked up TinyURL but is seems to be another Casa di Accoglienza. Has different address and phone number. I took your advice and have asked on Slow Travel.

That's odd, Aussie_Gal, because the page does refer to a Casa di Accoglienza in Loreto that offers 49 rooms for a cheap price. I can't imagine there'd be two such in the town! What address does the Bed & Blessings book give for the place? Googling by address can often be effective.

Via Montereale Vecchio, 96 Loreto 60025 with Tel/Fax (071) 970 192. Different phone fax and address?and mine says 36 rooms! Curious and curiouser!!

With that Montreale address, I found this, which also sounds like a convent, but differently named:
