Convent accomodation

I know that this has been discussed before but i need help... everywhere seems to be booked out. Does anyone know where to get an accurate list of convents offering accomodation in italy.

Ciao

Try http://www.dolcevita.com/travel/convent/convent1.htm or http://www.santasusanna.org/comingToRome/convents.html or for Rome - http://www.romeguide.it/relig_search...mp;Submit=Find.

Buona fortuna

there is a book named "Bed and Blessings". Not sure how current, but we used it in 2000

If you're going to Rome and you just want a list of convents and their facilities, as opposed to reviews, go to www.romaturismo.com (the official Rome tourist board) and click on "Holiday Homes" (yes, that's what the site calls them.

When doing research for my own stay, I found that there are far more convents offering accomodation than the few books and other reviews out there mention. So it depends upon how much of a chance you're willing to take.

Check out "The Guide to Lodging in Italy's Monasteries," by Eileen Barish.

Got mine at Barnes & Noble.
