Wondering about the practicality of landing at LCY and transferring into the city (near British museum) on 12/26/07.

Tube & DLR will be running, so there's no problem
Just take the DLR to Bank, then Central Line to Holborn / Tottenham Court Road whichever is nearer to your final destination.
The BM is closed 26th December BTW

Where are you coming from?
True, it's a slightly shorter journey on the DLR/Central Line from LCY than the direct tube to Holborn from Heathrow. But since all your other posts seem to indicate you're coming from North America, getting to LCY means changing planes somewhere like CDG or AMS - which have worse connections to North America than LHR or LGW. So it sounds like you're adding an extra plane change to avoid ten minutes on the tube.
