Someone mentioned a person they used at a consolidator travel office. i wrote it down but connot find it. does anyone remember? They said she was the only nice one there. thanks

Perhaps you are thinking of the Joy of Travel, whose owner is Gur. 1-888-air-tixx - - I think. Search "Gur" here; surely more information in previous posts of mine.

But I never said it was an "only" anything.

I have successfully used Flight Coordinators at 800 544-3644. They operate out of Los Angeles, but I do not have the address or web site on me.

www.flightcoordinators.com - - but the 800 number is more useful than the website, since it simply directs you to call them (at least for Europe fares).

I, too, have successfully used Flight Coordinators. On one occasion, ticketing got a little tricky (needed my 11 year old's flights to match those DH and I got for free through frequent flyer miles)and I was very pleased with their attitude and ability to make changes.
