Consignment / Thrift Shops in Spain?

I just love hunting for treasures in consignment or thrift shops. What are they called in Spanish? Can anyone mention a few addresses, particularly in Madrid, Valencia, and Alicante? Thanks a mil......

They are second hand/previously worn clothing stores.

louanne,
I don't know about consignment/thrift shops in Spain, but I've gotten terrific bargains at the outdoor markets where they sell all sorts of things. So, check on the market days and places for your destinations.

Yes, there are in Madrid and BCN for what I know (I don't know where exactly, I saw them on TV :)) ). But they are not very popular in Spain as they are in other countries.

Would very much like to know where/how to find them.

The equivalent to Salvation Army or Saint-vincent-de-Paul shops.
