Connection Munich vs Frankfurt

We are going from Boston to Venice and have the option to fly with Lufthansa and connect in either Munich or Franfurt. Which would be easier and how much time do you allow?

I much prefer Munich. It's much newer, easier to navigate, has great shops, etc and state of the art technology re baggage handling, etc. We've made connnections in less than 1 hour with no problems, but I'd be very confortable with whatever LH suggests in its schedules.

Munich is smaller and perhaps easier to navigate through.

Another vote for Munich...so much smaller and easier to navigate. Plus, it is a fairly new (or done over) airport and there are lots of shops and restaurants.

It is way easier than Frankfurt.

For me - NO question Munich. I do not like Frankfurt and always try to connect through Munich if possible - much smaller airport and, for some strange reason, less smoking.

Full disclosure though I have to admit I really dislike Frankfurt and would connect through Heathrow in preference!

Munich, for sure. Did both last year, and thought Frankfurt was a royal pain.
