Connect time from TVG to Continental flight at CDG

Will you be flying across the Atlantic? If so, you should be at CDG at least 2 hours before departure--and 3 hours is a lot safer.

I would be very uncomfortable with that connection time. Definitely change either your train arrival or your outgoing flight.

If you are planning upon arriving at the TGV terminal 1+40 before your aircraft departure, I should make other arrangements. From the TGV platform, it will take you 10-15+ minutes to reach Continental's check-in desks at Terminal 2A. I seem to recall a sign there saying luggage check in ends 90 minutes before departure time.

In spite of the fact the flight originates outside of the US, the TSA still regulates and must approve the check-in passenger list so pushing the time envelope is not recommended.

We arrived @CDG 2 hrs before our flight, took the terminal train to Term 1 and the check in line was about 30 minutes long. We noticed those who joined the line as we went upstairs to our gate for passport control and security later made the flight..BUT they just barely made it.
