It's amazing! I'm watching the victory celebrations on TV right now. I'm so happy!

Well done Greece - a fantastic achievement & well deserved! You have certainly given the other "small" countries hope for the future.

Well....being Scottish I have to hope that things can only get better!

I was blown awy from them. And the praise in this morning's papers is sooooo grudging

melr Jul 4th, 2004 11:12 PM

Well to be fair they were about the most boring team to watch in the tournament. But well done to them, they played to their strengths and it was a fantastic TEAM performance (take note Roon.. I mean England).

Congratulations Greece!
Portugal lost to a great team.

Well done, Greece!

God, I love living in the UK. They're STILL moaning about the disallowed goal and maintain that England easily could have beaten Greece. Right. Having England in any tournament really makes it more fun for the rest of us because the supporters and media take their inevitable failure so badly.

Kate Jul 5th, 2004 07:42 AM

But Ann, moaning about the results and the bad referees is the whole point! Particularly as we never win. We'd have nothing to talk about!
