It's amazing! I'm watching the victory celebrations on TV right now. I'm so happy!

Well done Greece - a fantastic achievement & well deserved! You have certainly given the other "small" countries hope for the future.
Well....being Scottish I have to hope that things can only get better! Jim |

We just went downtown to celebrate and Brussels was packed with Greeks celebrating, flags waving, people dancing on streets and spraying champagne! Just an awesome moment! Zitoi Ellada!! Congrats! |
Congrats from a former soccer-mom and traveling youth team manager! It is so exciting to win a Big One!
|
Congrats to Portugal as well!

I was blown awy from them. And the praise in this morning's papers is sooooo grudging
|
Well to be fair they were about the most boring team to watch in the tournament. But well done to them, they played to their strengths and it was a fantastic TEAM performance (take note Roon.. I mean England).
|
Congratulations Greece!
Portugal lost to a great team. |
Well done, Greece!
God, I love living in the UK. They're STILL moaning about the disallowed goal and maintain that England easily could have beaten Greece. Right. Having England in any tournament really makes it more fun for the rest of us because the supporters and media take their inevitable failure so badly. |
But Ann, moaning about the results and the bad referees is the whole point! Particularly as we never win. We'd have nothing to talk about!
