That was so funny, I was laughing so hard but my hubby couldn't watch it. He kept saying "poor bugger"!
Thanks |
I think what really hits the host is the high pitched voice of the poor fellow. His voice is higher than his wifes! I wonder if his voice changed after the mishap?
And the audience! How did they all keep a straight face? |
Oh, I just about died laughing watching this and of course I had to send the link to my best friend and her husband who is Belgian. They just about died laughing and then sent the link to his family and friends back in Belgium....it is the funniest thing and you've got to feel for the poor host....he must have wanted to just shoot himself. I've now watched it several times and I still laugh out loud!

and yes, how did the audience keep such a straight face?!?!?!

Hi JJBhoy, the poor man!! But the poor TV host too. I do hope he didn't get fired, LOL.
I had a neighbor come over to watch this website. She has never been out of the US but inspite of not understanding a word she was laughing until she had tears in her eyes. We both felt so guilty..again..the poor man! But what a funny website, thanks so much for posting it. |
Oh boy! That was one of the funniest things I've seen for ages! Had tears streaming down my face!
Have to feel so sorry for the poor fellow minus his bits though! |
FYI: The interview isn't "real". It's taken from a Belgian show ("in de gloria" if I remember correctly) that spoofs talk shows, reality TV etc..
It's all staged, but it's brilliant nonetheless :D |
Helmdall, I had that feeling, after I calmed down from laughing, I thought thought it seemed like a cross between an SNL or Mad TV skit and a out-take scene from one of my all-time favorite laugh-a-second films, "Waiting for Guffman" (esp, Chris Guest in the character of Corky St Clair) but with a Flemish twist!
I think it was the complete dead-pan of both the audience and the contra-tenor that was a dead give-away! |
Thanks for the laugh Jim :)
