Como to Bellagio?

Does any know the best way to get to Bellagio from either Milan or Como?

Como to Bellagio by SPT buses (nearly one per hour). website: www.sptcomo.it
Como to downtown Milano by train.
Malpensa airport to Como by SPT buses (connections to Bellagio, Menaggio and other lake towns)

"Best way" not being most efficient: take the ferry from Como to Bellagio. I am told that there is a "fast ferry," but we took what we renamed the Slow Boat To Bellagio, and it was supremely beautiful and one of my favorite memories of the trip.

Al,
I assume you mean via public transportation, so my "best way" from Como to Bellagio would be by boat--fast or slow. (Bus only if too late at night or patchy schedule off season).

My "best way" from Milan to Bellagio would be train to Varenna and the short ferry across to Bellagio. (This might also be the fastest way now that I think about it.)

I had not considered coco's alternative suggestions, but I like them.

The fast ferry between Como and Bellagio makes only three stops and takes 45 minutes. The slower one, I believe, takes about 2 hours. Either one is a beautiful ride. The land route is interesting, but the ride can be slow and/or harrowing along a narrow road!
