Como or Bellagio?

I will be going to Lake Como in the spring and will stay 3 days. Two will be in Bellagio. I am wondering if I should spend the extra night in Como or stay in Bellagio. Thank you.

The hydrofoil runs between them--no reason to change locations, unless you are tight for time to get to Malpensa for departure. Bellagio is the choice.

Como is a beautiful little town that tends to have more going on that Bellagio in the off-season. I was in the Como district in October at the end of the season and many of the hotels, restaurants and shops in Bellagio were closed while Como was alive and busy.

Anyone know what the hydrofoils cost to go between Bellagio and Villa D'Este. Thanks.

The hydofoil between Como and Bellagio costs approx. $8 US...the sloooowww boat a few dollars less...but much more scenic!
