Comments on possible day trips fromSt Remy de Provence

Considering day trip to either Casis, the Camarague or possibly the Gorges du Verdon for our last day in Provence. Any thoughts? Have been here 9 days and holiday coming to an end.

I would go to the Gorges de l'Ardeche, and then either visit Aven d'Orgnac cave (rated 3 stars my Michelin), or the newly opened Grotte Chauvet Pont d'Arc

I would not leave without spending a day in the Camargue, having lunch at La Telline, buying some red rice and sand wine, and visiting Aigues-Mortes.

Hmm, interesting options

Our train to London from Avignon canceled by strike so if our hotel concierge cannot make changes by phone in am we will be driving to Avignon TGV to make changes so we may have to do a short trip somewhere tomorrow

well, I've visited Cassis and enjoyed it, if you are interesting in taking a boat tour to see the calanques. Otherwise, it's nothing special, to be honest.

We enjoyed driving over to Cassis, walking about, having lunch and then doing a boat ride through the calanques. You won't have time for the boat ride, but if the weather is nice, Cassis is lovely.

Went to Cassis which was ok, than drove to la Route des Cretes which was quite scenic than finished up driving through the Camargue to Stes Marie's de la mar. 1400 km or so through Prvence!
