I'm also flying into Gatwick (well, thru Gatwick) in November, on my way to the Channel Isles, which have decent weather in November. You could also easily combine a visit to London with a trip to Dublin.

Why do you need to rush about so much. Your long list indicates you haven't yet visited London. 1 week is a very short time for London. So I'd recommend just staying put.
But if for some reason you feel you "must" go somewhere else - then take 2 days and go to Edinburgh. You can take the train (4+ hours) sleeper train (overnight) or fly.
But really - just London w/ maybe a day trip to Bath or Canterbury is all I'd consider.
