This one features text by noted novelist Peter Ackroyd. He worked with Dynamichrome to show the city through colorized old photos.
The title refers to the approach--each chapter features a different color theme. A wide variety of neighbourhoods and events is shown, plus paintings, maps and posters.
The coverage ranges from the 18th century up to 1970.
