Colonna Palace or Residena Anitca in Rome?

Has anyone stayed in either of these hotels? They were recommended by my travel agent ... both are 4 stars in the Historical Center.

Any feedback would be greatly apreciated!

We stayed at the Colonna Palace last year. It was a pleasant hotel and the room was large by Rome standards. They have a delightful rooftop breakfast room with a fabulous view. We were there on a Sunday morning when all the church bells began to ring...just wonderful.

The hotel is in a government square so no traffic is allowed at all. So the immediate area is quiet with just folks walking around. The location is excellent. You can easily walk to Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

All in all, we would stay there again. Have a good time.
