We stayed in this Citadines Aparthotel in Strasbourg: https://www.discoverasr.com/en/citad...ber-strasbourg

They have 1 br apartments that can sleep 4 adults - there is a bedroom with a bed for 2 people and then there is a pull-out couch in the living room. It would be tight, but they have wifi and it looks like it's in your budget - right at the top, but in your budget.

I just returned from a two week trip with my husband and 3 kids (oldest 18), we spent 3 nights in Colmar. We arrived in Strasbourg and toured around. It was fine but we got panhandled some which I didn't care for. Went to Colmar and stayed in a gorgeous booking.com apartment in the center (https://www.booking.com/hotel/fr/les-cordonniers.html). There isn't that much to do in Colmar per say other than wander around and eat, visit the church and the market, so that is what we did- they were our down days on an otherwise very busy trip. We also went to several villages like Eguisheim and Riquewir which are also charming but sort of smaller versions of Colmar - again, wandered around and ate there. We went to the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg which I would recommend and also La Montagne des Singes which was a stones throw away and my kids enjoyed. For food, Le20eme in Colmar was a favorite of the trip. They dont speak English though so we had to improvise. We also ate at A l'Echevin which was very nice on the canal. We also had an amazing lunch at La Closerie in Mulhouse.
