Colmar, self guided walking tour available?
 

Will be in Colmar for two days in June with DH and 2 children. I am interested in purchasing a guide book, or walking tour- to help give us historical info as we explore. Any suggestions?

Go to the tourist office in the centre of the old town near the Musee D'Unterlinden. Folks there speak English, and have the kind of maps that might be useful.
Alternatively, you could buy the Green Michelin Guide to Alsace-Lorraine (in English) which has a map of Colmar therein with a suggested walking tour marked.
