Coco exposed!

There has been a lot of talk on the Europe Board about the delights of Dijon, and the lovely Fodorite, Cocofromdijon. I have never, however, seen a picture of her on the site. I'll try to remedy that now by posting a picture of DW, Tammy, Coco, and Myself, taken in Dijon when Coco took us on a very educational and fattening tour of local patisseries. Perhaps this will help those of you that stay at her flat to recognize her.

This is my first attempt to attach a photo to one of these threads, so I'm interested to see if it works well.

Great photo! Look all look like you enjoyed your patisserie experience!

Ooh La La

Coco exposed! j'attends avec tres impatience!

Coco's web site www.myhomeindijon.com - has lots of nice pictures of Dijon even if not staying in her raved about by Fodorites flat in the town center.

what lovely ladies!!!

Marianna Feb 25th, 2009 09:40 AM

I could be wrong, but I thought that once there was a picture of her with Ira posted here. Maybe it was a short video - perhaps I am thinking of something on her website though.

Great picture, nukesafe!

Palenque Feb 25th, 2009 10:24 AM

Good grief! Coco is a spitting image of my French son's Aunt Marie-Claire! And Marie-Claire is a nice looking gal.

Hi M,

>I thought that once there was a picture of her with Ira posted here. Maybe it was a short video<

It was a video.

I watched your video again, Ira, but did not see Coco. Saw lots of cheese, lots of yourself, even a corkscrew, but no Coco. I could hear her voice behind the camera, and looked hard for reflections in the shop windows, but the mysterious Corinne remains elusive.

BTW, it is SNOWING here in the Seattle area! I thought winter was over.

I actually attended a summer course in French at the Universite de Dijon so long ago that I am not posting the year. I always enjoy reading about Dijon as those posts evoke many warm memories.

hummmh - did Ira and Coco have some kind of liason secret?

cocofromdijon Feb 26th, 2009 09:26 AM

@-) =; OMG! Dick, you could have chosen another picture, you surely have tons to share much more interesting (and not with me on them!)! I remember the strong wind that day...
Adrienne you can see our meeting by clicking on the frog cakes in the middle of this page http://www.myhomeindijon.com/videos_and_pictures.htm

Pal I'm simply me and not a spitting image of someone else! And I don't have a secret affair with Ira, I don't think his Lady Wife would appreciate, and I'm a happily married woman. ;;)

nukesafe Feb 26th, 2009 11:26 AM

Yeah, Ira should be so lucky! Besides, with Pascal being a cop, it would be really foolish.

Coco, I had never clicked on that frog cakes section of your web site before. Brings back really nice memories of that gluttenous day.

:-)

She is so adorably French. Is it something in the water?

Marianna Feb 26th, 2009 02:18 PM

Hello Ira,

I thought I had seen a video a while back of you with Coco. I remember it well.. most things I forget though! Go figure!

Well, Ira was lucky!

Palenque Feb 27th, 2009 07:04 AM

Coco - j'arrive bientot - 29em fevrier - ta voyera au gare de dijon, pres de heurtoir quai no 78 - 5am - tu m'attend? j'espere.

Cimbrone Feb 27th, 2009 07:08 AM

Coco gave me a lovely tour of the Dukes' Palace, charming her way into rooms that would have been closed otherwise. Very enjoyable!

Palenque Mar 2nd, 2009 09:07 AM

Ah once again abandoned in the Gare de Dijon - waiting in vain by heurtoir quai numero 75 - and nothing - spurned again. C'est the historie de mon vie! A peut-etre l'annee prochaine?

cocofromdijon Mar 4th, 2009 06:28 AM

Oh Pal I didn't abandon you! You didn't read my last posting on the Burgundy information thread where I mentioned that I was waiting for a French couple. And then "ourjetboat" also stayed and left this morning. Since this thread is about photos you can see him and his lovely wife on my website guestbook. They should be in Annecy by now. A une autre fois!

Palenque Mar 4th, 2009 07:21 AM

Desolee, moi - trop desolee de continuer ma vie je pense. Au revoir mignon Coco. Ce fait noir, tout noir maintenant... beau reves.

cocofromdijon Mar 7th, 2009 08:00 AM

Hey chouchou comment ça va? No need to commit suicide for that! I hope it is not too late ... :-S
Bon week end! ;-)
