Coat queston Italy and France Late May early June
 

How cool does it get (generally) in Pisa and St Remy in late May early June. Will I need a thick coat or will sweaters with a light jacket do the trick? Its all about the packing.

Late May and early June will not require a heavy coat janellebc. Yes take a sweater (I love cashmere as it it light to pack, always looks good and keeps one warm if it does get chilly) and a jacket will be fine.

You would have needed a coat in the evening last year. You would not have even wanted to see a coat in '03.

We needed a coat in early July of '97, and we did not need a coat in early June of '01.

Take something light with you.
