Clubbing!!
Does anyone have a clue what the clubs are like in Milan? Please help if anyone can!!
|
I haven't had much luck with clubbing info on fodors!!
If you're close to a bookstore, pickup a copy of Frommer's Hanging out in Europe. It's pretty useful for the younger traveler...lists bars, pubs, clubs...galleries, coffee shops, hang out joints..you get it. It's too much for me to type of i'd copy from mine! You can also try lonley planet message boards..younger crowd w/ better advice for clubs and such. |
Oh, thank god. At first I thought this thread had something to do with baby seals.
|
Patrick, very funny !! |
What do you want to know? Try vivimilano.it for current info. I know a few like "Hollywood" where you'll find a big mix of people. The Budda Bar is supposed to open this month. Which is dinner and dancing, and will definetly be hip. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll try to help.

Not sure if this is blasphemy on a Fodors site but you'll probably get more bars / nightclubs info from Lonely Planet. Better stil just do a google search under "nightlife in Milan".
|
Thanks for the info peeps, ive taken a look at google already but was hoping to get more from people who've already experienced the nightlife, havnt tried lonely planet and will probably give that a shot!
Hey Melissa 1, you wouldnt happen to know if there are any places which play current stuff, hip hop, rnb?? |
I have found that most of the clubs in Europe play techno/trance/house American music.
|

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a club that plays lots of hip hop and r&b because here we have very few black people. Plus in Europe, disco music tends to be danceable pop. It's rare to hear other styles. Having said that, I'll look around and let you know if I find anything else.Ciao, Melissa
