Clothing problem
 

Am having trouble sorting this out..I know that there are many, many clothing threads(sorry) to peruse, which I have.. <BR>Want to travel light and casual for most of trip..must attend a very fancy wedding in Florence in middle of trip..need at least a dark suit for wedding,and, less formal, but dressy something for dinner, lunch, etc. Are there really jackets and suits that can be "stuffed" for days and come out wearable? and not look cheesy? is this a myth? I am an absolute iron freak, can't stand wrinkles. While in Florence this spring I went to the electronics store -I believe it was called Euronics - and bought a small travel-sized iron to use. That would be cheaper than buying a no-wrinkle travel suit.

Just a note on Travelsmith products. <BR> <BR>Many good products there. In the "wrinkle free" arena, though, what looks good and what doesn't look so good is a quite individual issue. Some wouldn't wear Travelsmith's products as they come off the rack to a wrestling match, let alone a wedding. Others find the appearance quite attractive. Check carefully before committing your wardrobe.

I'm sure your hotel could arrange for your clothes to be pressed. sometimes the chambermaids will do it and you just give them a nice tip.

Get yourself a Franzus dual-voltage steamer (the one with the single handle, not the one with the foldup collapsable handles) and an adapter plug (not to be confused with a converter, which is unnecessary). It's small, lightweight, and does a fabulous job. You can steam your slacks or jacket right on the hanger.
