Will be island hopping from 6/17 for a week and then in Nafplia and Athens for the next week-- should I stick to skirts and shorts or does it cool off in the evening and jeans would be good? What kind of temps should I be seeing from June 17 to july 4????

It was very warm yesterday in Athens mid 80's and walking around was quite hot. Same in the islands - shorts and light top - but in Oia I needed a light wrap with my sundress in the evening.

Jeans are a bit too heavy (both to wear and to pack) for summer in Greece. By mid-June it usually gets hot, even on the islands. I'm no expert on women's wear, but it seems to me that BeachGirl gives good advice. It does sometimes get cool in the evenings, and some islands have a mosquito problem, so be prepared for that. :-)

Being a mosquito magnet I'm happy to report they were not in full force. Yet. :)

Santorini has few mosquitos, but some other islands do. My favorite fragrance for the islands is eau de deet. :-))
