clothes to pack for Spain in March?

Hi!

From what I've read here the weather is highly unpredictable in March - we'll be in Madrid, Segovia, Cordoba, Seville, Granada, Barcelona from March 19-28. Anyone have any suggestions on the most easiest/best way to take the most minimum clothes for this unpredictable time?????

So far thinking 1 pair of jeans(for the cold), a thick pair of black sweats(to alternate with jeans), 3-4 full sleeve tops/t-shirts to layer, 1 jacket??? what type - light fleece, windbreaker...? with hood or take umbrella for the rain...

Weather in the south will be very different from Madrid. In Madrid you're still in late winter and it can be quite chilly and rainy. In the south it usually (not always) warms up much faster. We were in Seville in late April and it was about 80 during the day - so you'll need to be prepaed for warmer temps as well.

Are you male or female?

Don't bring sweat pants. Jeans are fine, though. Get some decent wool gabardine pants some wrinkle-free pants in a lighter fabric. The best coat is a raincoat with a zip out lining. With that amount of traveling, I doubt if you'll have time for laundry, so you'll need a clean shirt for every day (half long sleeved, half short sleeved.) A fleece sweater for casual wear and a wool one to wear with the gabardine pants for going out should give you enough choices.

Hi vacation03
We were in Madrid and Andalucia late March last year for out honeymoon. The weather was fantastic - chilly mornings and evenings abt 7-8 degrees C and warming up to a sunny 18-20 deg during the day.
It only rained on 2 out of our 18 day trip
The temperature in Andalucia (Sevilla, pueblos blancos and Granada) was warmer - it got up to 24-25 degrees and we were wandering around in our t shirts and slacks.
Bring stuff that you can layer - I brought t shirts, cardigans, jeans and cotton slacks and a light coat and a light polar fleece top.
