It can be done! We stayed here in April 03: http://www.connemara-clifden.com/index.html. We were a very last minute arrival (we had reservations down the road but somehow they got screwed up and she sent us to her friend) so our room looked out on the parking lot. Ask for a room on the front. Bridie was a very lovely hostess. Or try the first place who goofed up, Atlantic View,which was a nice home: http://galway.goireland.com/scripts/...x/premises.htm
