Clicking on my name
I've been away for 3 weeks. Why does clicking on my name no longer bring up "my" posts?
You need to do a second click on MY PROFILE. Sometimes you don't though...it's been variable.
My name no longer appears on the top right corner. I have to go to the bottom of someone's post to click on my name.
Sheila - I just clicked on your name and up popped your profile and list of posts.
There have been some bugs and glitches here recently - I think we just have to bear with it. |
Are you signed in?
Sheila: Yes -- it is now (usually) a double click.
Micheline: Are you on a pc - or on a tablet? If on a computer and signed in, your name should be in the top corner. If on a tablet - it isn't there. |
It might depend on the tablet, too. My name is in the URC on my Fire.
On an iPad, click on Menu in the upper left corner.
I thought they changed that system more than 3 weeks ago but when they redid the interface -- that you have to click on "my profile" to see your posts, which I'd think you'd naturally try when you click on your name and see the choices.
I have an Android tablet (ASUS) and my name is in the upper RHC also. |
Oh! Ok. I clicked on menu and there it was on my tablet. Who knew? Thanks. It's definitely no longer in the roc.
Oops. That's rhc.
Thanks for the info about the 'menu' on a tablet. I have an iPad mini and hadn't even noticed the new menu link. Not very intuitive to use a drop down menu when on other devices your profile photo displays right there. Would have been nice if they had announced the changes.
>>that you have to click on "my profile" to see your posts, which I'd think you'd naturally try when you click on your name and see the choices.<< But before when you clicked there you went straight to your profile -- now you have to click again. Not that it is onerous or anything -- just and extra click. |
FYI if you can't see your name in the top right corner of your tablet, rotate your tablet so the screen is in horizontal rather than vertical position. Tada! it will appear. .
