I would love to own most of them. At the moment though I have spent so much on my wardrobe I don't have enough left to spend so much on a new handbag.

So how much would a $265 handbag like these cost in Italy?

My Longchamp bags all cost much less in Paris than they did in NY Saks Fifth.
My husband always buys me a treat or two when we are in Paris and last time was a Gucci bag. Not only do they not have the same style in the US but it cost much less.
Then there are the Lancel and gorgeous leather bags that you can find in all boutiques and smaller stores that are made in Paris .
If you feel like shopping, there is no end to the goodies you can find :)

Are you allowed to keep your "sanitary" products in a opaque bag, or does everyone get to see how many of them you carry around with you on any given day?

A book I read recently titled "Nickel and Dimed" covers how employers often treat employees as children. It's too bad they can't trust people enough to not insist on things like clear plastic handbags, etc.

So far we have been able to carry little pouches or similar items in the clear bags to place things like personal items. Almost seems to defeat the purpose doesn't it?

It would also be great if a good portion of retail theft was not committed by employees.

People you would never suspect. People who you might have worked with for many years.

Sticking merchandise in your purse isn't the only way employees steal either.

Nope, now I'm waiting to see what I find in Italy.
