Classes or walking tours you enjoyed in Barcelona
Good morning
If anyone has taken any sort of class or guided walking tour in Barcelona that you would recommend I'd be grateful to learn about it. Classes, such as cooking classes, short term language classes, photography or art classes (one-off or short term), etc. Walking tours could be of any type - following a photographer around, a history walk, a "getting to know Barcelona" walk. If you've had any other unique experiences there that lend themslves to short time visitors that would be nice to know. Thank you! |
ps. I meant to mention - I would especially enjoy a food walking tour - I did a tapas tour in Madrid a few years ago and it was a lot of fun.

We took two walking tours offered by the "runner beans" guides which we enjoyed. One was focused on getting to know Barcelona and the other was focused on Gaudi. These were "free" tours but tips were expected.

I just returned. It's not a walking tour, but we really enjoyed the hop on hop off double decker city tour bus. 3 different lines, and a great way to see the city with earphones for history. A two day pass was 35 euros per person for a 2 day pass. The bus stops at most attractions.
Barcelona is a beautiful city! It's big and crowded. If you need a break from city life, the beautiful beach community of Sitges is just a 40 min. local train ride away. |
Thank you for the tips!

I though they were called "jelly bean" tours. It makes as much sense, using expats as unlicensed guides.

Thank you!
How about any one-off painting classes (for example)? |
