Civitavecchi Airport

I will be arriving in Rome Dec 1, what is the status of getting my luggae, are there free or pay for carts or porters?

What do you mean by Civitavacchi airport? Civitavacchi does not have an airport.

In the dozen times I have been through the Rome airport I have never seen porters. I have seen carts but don't know how to get one. Getting your luggage is about the same as getting it in the US. Go to the luggage area and pick it up.

If that doesn't answer your question, then I don't understand what you are asking.

Hi,

The name of Rome's main airport is Fiumicino, FCO or Leonardo da Vinci.

The ship port for boats is Civitavecchia.

There are porters you can call for luggage assistance using kiosks or the assistance desks in the airport

I am sorry I don't know the cost of using the pay carts either. But if you want to use them, you should come prepared with euro coins.

I just looked on another website and as of September, renting a cart requires a 2 euro coin. There are machines near the carts that will make change, but they charge for the transaction.

carts will probably be a couple of euros.

getting to and from the port is expensive

Getting to and from the port can be fairly inexpensive. In the range of 15E and a little extra time.

We took a cab from the port back into Rome that cost around €180, but I've seen car services mentioned on this forum for around €120 from FCO or Rome.
